Evangelos Vangelatos, Artist’s Bio

Evangelos Vangelatos was born in Athens in 1969. He studied marketing in the U.S and later worked for several years in the family business, living between Europe and Africa. In 2001 he started his esoteric journey which led to a continuous 7 years trip from India to Santa Fe. At that point painting came along.

What he can say about his work is that: “At first, the canvas is my playground, then it becomes my  battlefield and finally it reveals my devotion and gratitude to the unknown .. In this journey music is my sacred friend. It awakens my spirit and has always been my guide. My intention is to celebrate, through my work, whatever happens in my life.”
